The George Inn pub in Bathampton, which is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment, will reopen on Wednesday 13th February with six new jobs created as a result of the makeover.

The George Inn Chef & Brewer, on Mill Lane, will reopen on Wednesday 13th February, offering locals a place for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime or a glass of fizz at the end of the week, through to celebrating special occasions with friends and family.
The pub boasts a traditional feel, with an open fireplace, timber and stone flooring, plus an interior palette of soft greys and blues. The refurbishment will also include new planting, lighting and furniture to enhance exterior spaces.

“We’re really excited to get the refurbishment underway, and look forward to welcoming our Bathampton neighbours to the revamped venue when it officially opens on Wednesday 13 February.
The new look George Inn pub has a two-course evening set menu available for £13.49, served from 4pm Monday to Thursday.
It includes favourites such as panko-coated calamari and hand-battered Atlantic cod and chips.
On Sundays, the pub serves a selection of roasts, served with buttered seasonal veg, homemade Yorkshire pudding, sage & onion stuffing, garlic & rosemary goose fat roast potatoes or minted baby potatoes with premium gravy.
