Bath Vet Group have received 4 nominations for Vet of the Year and have also been nominated for the Practice of the Year so far in the 2016 Petplan Veterinary Awards.
The nomination period opened in September and will be running until the 31st January 2016.
During this time both veterinary staff and clients are able to nominate the practice teams and individuals who they think are most deserving of winning an award.
The Veterinary Awards intend to shine a light on the veterinary profession, and provide a chance to celebrate the work practice staff do for the pets in their care.
There are five award categories:
- Practice of the Year;
- Practice Manager of the Year;
- Practice Support Staff of the Year;
- Vet Nurse of the Year;
- Vet of the Year.
Three finalists will be selected in each category and invited to attend a prestigious award ceremony in April 2016, where the winners will be announced.
Nominations are judged by an individual panel of leading people from the veterinary profession, including presidents of the veterinary and nursing associations and previous winners of these awards.
These judges have first-hand experience of life in practice and are able to use their veterinary expertise to judge who the truly outstanding teams and individuals are from the thousands of nominations received each year.
To nominate either a practice or a member of practice staff, nomination forms can be found online at www.petplan.co.uk/vetawards.
