Keynsham building contractor Dribuild has extended its sponsorship of Bath Racecourse with a three year deal that will see the company become a Principle Partner to the venue.

The deal will see Dribuild branding on the parade ring, winners enclosure, finishing post and hospitality within the new suites that are nearing completion.

As part of the deal, Bath Racecourse will be working with the sports academy department of Weston College in Weston-super-Mare – which is also sponsored by Dribuild – to offer work experience placements to students that may be interested in exploring careers in the racing industry.

Talking about the partnership, Matt Tyler, Managing Director of Dribuild said: “We are keen to continue, and indeed extend our support of Bath Racecourse as it is an important local asset for the West Country.

“We have an excellent relationship with the team up at Lansdown and we use the facilities to host events and entertain guests. We also enjoy increased profile from having our brand on prominent display around the site.

“We sponsor the sports academy at Weston College and we take on apprentices who are studying for degrees in sports sciences.

“We give them time out to study and play sports, but we also provide a safety net of options for students when they graduate.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity of extending this approach to involve Bath Racecourse and believe the additional experience provided will support their studies.”

Jo Hall, Executive Director at Bath Racecourse added: “We are delighted that Dribuild has chosen to continue working with us and are pleased that the company derives so much benefit from its sponsorship and enjoys the relationship.

“We are keen to get involved with Weston College and to offer work experience to students who will gain a better understanding of how a major sporting venue operates.”
