A Bath business hiring baby equipment is set to make life easier for parents, grandparents and tourists, thanks to local resident and mum of two Clare Moon, who has founded Hiremebaby Ltd.

The idea for the business came from Clare’s experiences of the real life practicalities of raising young children.

“My company will provide parents and carers with a flexible, cost-effective way of accessing the best equipment to suit their ever-changing needs.

“They could ‘test-drive’ equipment before they buy it or even treat their children to some fun play equipment for a special occasion.

“In addition to this, it’s perfect for grandparents who can choose from a range of ‘equipment bundles’ when grandchildren come to stay.”

Clare is also hoping to support visitors to the area. “Bath is such a beautiful city and a popular tourist destination, but I know first-hand the struggle of travelling on holiday with children who still require bulky kit.

“I thought how much easier it would be to hire equipment on arrival; it could be collected from the airport along with a hire car, or delivered to a hotel.”

Hiremebaby has a wide range of products which is increasing all the time and includes popular brands such as Maxi Cosi, Babyjogger, Cybex and LittleLife.

“We know how unique everyone’s needs are; if you can’t see what you’re looking for let us know and we can probably find the right product for you.”

Crucially, Hiremebaby makes hiring and returning equipment very simple. Equipment can be delivered and collected at a time and location that works for you.

All equipment comes with the original instruction manual and they can demonstrate how to use everything on delivery. In addition, HIremebaby offer a Home Safe Service from the RUH.  New parents who do not own a car seat can hire one which will be delivered to the RUH for their newborn and collected from their home at a convenient time.

As a parent, Clare knows exactly what’s at the forefront of any adult’s mind when hiring children’s equipment. “All our equipment is thoroughly checked for safety before it is hired and is cleaned and sanitised after every use.

“All our products are inspected by me personally and I wouldn’t hire out anything I wouldn’t use with my own children.”

“Being a parent has been the most rewarding and happiest experience of my life.  But it is not without its challenges.

“I hope that Hiremebaby can play a small part in making those challenges just that bit easier for other parents.”
