Bath City Youth Under-9s are thirsty for success after a recent donation of refillable water bottles from their new training kit sponsors, Wessex Water.
The youngsters, who play at Odd Down, look extra smart and are sure to be well hydrated this season, thanks to their new sweatshirts and recyclable Wessex Water bottles.
Wessex Water’s Hydrate Feel Great campaign promotes the health and cost benefits of tap water, as well as encouraging people to use refillable bottles rather than buying water or other drinks in single-use plastic ones.
Coach Craig Moores said: “We’re really grateful to Wessex Water for sponsoring our sweatshirts, which look fantastic.
“The boys know all about the importance of staying hydrated, especially when playing or training, so the water bottles are very welcome.”
The bottles were presented by Wessex Water’s Ruth Jefferson, who said: “Drinking tap water throughout the day is one of the easiest and cheapest things you can do to stay fit and healthy, whatever your age.
“We’re delighted to support Bath City Youth Under-9s and wish them a successful and enjoyable season.”
