Back by popular demand, Ghost Hare, the spicy, rich porter from Bath Ales, will be returning during the festive season at various shops across the local area until stocks last.
The limited edition ale will be available in store and online from 1st December, though is expected to sell out fast.
A dark, smooth ale, Ghost Hare is brewed at 4.2% vol with chocolate malt and Challenger hops.
These are expertly blended with oak-smoked ghost chillies from the Upton Cheyney Chilli Company, offering the drinker a rich tasting beer with a spicy flavour.
The warming and distinctive combination of ghost chillies and chocolate malt, make Ghost Hare the perfect drink for a cold winter’s night.
Bath Ales’ sales director, Mark Harding commented on the return of the popular ale.
He said: “Ghost Hare is a flavoursome porter which is much loved by beer drinkers due to its deep taste and spicy kick.
“The addition of the ghost chillies, grown by the fantastic Upton Cheyney Chilli Company, help make Ghost Hare a real stand-out ale.
“We’re delighted to be bringing it back to the Bath Ales shop for the festive period. It makes a great stocking filler and is the perfect drink to serve to guests at gatherings – it marries brilliantly with Christmas pudding.
“I recommend those who are interested in buying Ghost Hare to move quickly – we believe it will sell out fast!”
From the 1st December, Ghost Hare will be available in single bottles and cases of 12 bottles in the Bath Ales Brewery Shop in Warmley, between Bath and Bristol, and also from the online shop – https://www.bathales.com/store/.
