An award-winning wine business, ‘Le Vignoble’, will be opening in Milsom Place in Bath in just over two months, with building works well underway at the site.
Yannick Loué, founder and MD of award winning business ‘Le Vignoble’, announced last year that he would be bringing his revolutionary wine business to Bath in early 2018.
Le Vignoble will occupy premises in Milsom Place opposite the highly regarded ‘Hunter & Sons’.
Le Vignoble, which means ‘the vineyard’ in French, is a hybrid wine business offering elements of lounge, retail and education, each which complement each other and come together to provide a complete package.
Loué and his team have been successful in breaking down the barriers associated with the wine world at their first outlet in Plymouth’s historic Royal William Yard, and have won many awards for their continuous efforts including ‘Top Merchant of the year 2014’ with the ‘Harpers Magazine’ and ‘Best Independent Wine Merchant 2016’ with the ‘Drinks Retailing Awards’.
Le Vignoble works with state of the art Enomatic self service wine machines, and the new outlet will offer 32 different wines by the taster/glass at any time, plus many more by the bottle to drink in or take away alongside small plates of French tapas sourced direct from the famous Rungis market in Paris.
The new outlet in Milsom Place has been designed by ‘20/20 Projects’ and will deliver a classic old meets new form, embracing and complementing the historic building it sits in.
Yannick Loué said: “It is with great pleasure I can announce that Le Vignoble will be opening in Bath. I had been looking for premises to open a new outlet for some time, and when I visited Milsom Place I immediately knew it was the right spot – a series of beautiful Georgian buildings, terraces & courtyards in the heart of Bath’s upmarket shopping quarter.
“Our hybrid business will be new to Bath, and with the lounge element playing the biggest part I believe it will complement what the city already has, this is something I believe is important as we are not opening to compete with the existing wine scene, we will be there to offer something new.”
