Richardson Swift’s first apprentice, 20-year-old Ellen Crozier, is celebrating after securing a full-time position with the growing Bath accountancy firm.

Ellen joined Richardson Swift straight from Writhlington School in Radstock where she obtained A-levels in ICT, business studies and economics.

Ellen has since gained her Association of Accounting Technicians Level 4 Diploma and has been promoted to the position of accounts assistant by Richardson Swift.

Ellen has become proficient with accounting software and cloud systems, and enjoys helping clients with bookkeeping and VAT returns.

She also works within Richardson Swift’s personal tax team, preparing tax returns and learning about the complexities of tax.

Debbie Boulton, director of business services at Richardson Swift, said: “We are delighted to announce that Ellen – who joined us as our first ever apprentice – is now a permanent member of the team.

“She has worked very hard during her apprenticeship and we have been impressed by Ellen’s commitment and determination to succeed in a career in accountancy.

“We wish her every success in her new role with the firm.”
