The Bathampton Mill in Bathampton is set to reopen on 28th March following three months of closure due flooding just before Christmas.
The popular pub and restaurant, which closed last Christmas Eve when heavy rain flooded its ground level causing extensive damage, will reopen having undergone a complete refurbishment.
The pub, locally known for its idyllic location, cosy corners, comfy armchairs and roaring log fires has been refurbished to include a fresh new interior, and an extension to its outdoor riverside dining area and internal bar area.
The Bathampton Mill will also welcome a new team including new head chef Jack Denning – when it reopens at the end of the month.
James Childe, landlord at The Bathampton Mill, said: “Having been closed for three months, we are very much looking forward to welcoming ours guests – both new and existing – back to The Bathampton Mill just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday, 30th March.
“We’ve really focussed on retaining and restoring the charm of The Bathampton Mill, and are excited to reveal some of the changes we have made within the pub and restaurant.”
Upon reopening, The Bathampton Mill will also reveal its new modern British menu, which will include British Deli Boards, Chateaubriand with twice-cooked chips, Swordfish Steak with honey-roasted butternut squash and traditional roasts, amongst other delectable dishes.
