A famous Bath male choir is reaching out to organisations in Japan via YouTube to tell them about a concert tour visit this year to Kyoto and Tokyo.

The Bath Male Choir enjoy a worldwide reputation following their appearances on the popular Last Choir Standing BBC reality series.

They reached the finals and were called the “ Wall of Sound ” by celebrity judge Russell Watson. Since that time the choir has toured extensively and enjoyed many standing ovations for their thrilling performances.

They set out for Japan in November this year as one of the first UK amateur male choirs ever to visit the country.

The YouTube video has gone live to introduce the choir to Japanese businesses, cultural organisations or churches in Kyoto or Tokyo, the two cities included in the visit.

Bath Male Choir founder conductor Grenville Jones features on the video.

He said: “We already have a number of confirmed performances but we really would like to hear from anyone who might welcome a performance from an English male choir.

“By putting the YouTube video online we can reach out to a massive audience with added opportunity for people to also hear the ‘Boys from Bath ‘ in full song!”

Bath Male Choir fly out of Bristol Airport via Amsterdam on Friday 31st October to Osaka Kansai International Airport.
