Café au Lait, which has two coffee shops in Bath on Pulteney Street and on Dorchester Street, was used in the filming by the production company Twofour.

Channel 5 commissioned eight sixty-minute documentaries following the working lives of the staff at First Great Western, one of Britain’s largest and most unique train operating companies.

The series will delve behind the scenes of the industry, following the drivers, managers, ticket inspectors, technicians and porters across the South West.

Bath Spa station is set to appear in the eight documentaries, as it is operated by First Great Western.

Melanie Leach, the managing director of Twofour said: “As a South West based Indie, Twofour has spent over a decade traveling with FGW. The routes, the staff, the silver service dining and, of course, the customers combine to create an organisation that is utterly unique. We’re delighted that they’ve agreed to let us tell their story on Channel 5.”
