“We feel it’s important to support local, community events that fit with our company values. Bike Bath is a fantastic cycling event and a fun day out for everyone taking part in a stunning part of the country, so close to where our brewery is based.
“Last year it was great to welcome everyone back to the Rec and serve them a well-deserved pint of craft beer. We look forward to doing that again in July 2015.”
Bike Bath is run by cycling events company – Iconic Cycling Events, who run a number of road sportive cycling events.
Talking about Bike Bath, Commercial Director, Steve Baxter said: “Bike Bath is approaching its fourth year so it is firmly set in cyclists event calendars – our reputation of offering a mixture of routes for all levels of cyclists and fantastic feed stations has seen our entry numbers increase year on year.
“Added to the mix in 2014 was our relaxed village green with the main hub being the Bath Ales Marquee & Bar, which really helped to create that post-ride atmosphere.
“We are over the moon to have Bath Ales on board for 2015, it is fantastic news for us and for cyclists. We’re really looking forward to creating an even better event atmosphere and working with the Bath Ales team again in 2015.”
As well as being title sponsor, Bath Ales will be supplying the event marquee with a paying bar.
