Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help to identify a woman they want to talk to about the theft of a handbag in Bath.

The handbag was stolen from Jimmy Spices restaurant in Dorchester Street, Bath on Saturday 18th January.

CCTV photos show a woman taking the bag from the floor at around 1.35pm.

She then left the building and walked towards the bus station where she was last seen waiting at the bays for outbound buses to the Bristol, Frome or Wells areas.

Anyone who can identify the woman pictured, or the woman herself, is asked to call Bath police on 101, quoting crime reference number 6076/14.
