The Police Service of Northern Ireland have launched an anniversary appeal for information to find a missing person who previously lived in Bath and may have returned.

The police, who are investigating long term missing person Hugh Toner, are renewing their appeal for information following the 20th anniversary of his disappearance.

Hugh, from Hawthorne Lane, Dublin Road, Newry, who would now be 76 years old, went missing from Craigavon Area Hospital on 7th February 1994.

He is of slim build, blue eyes, grey hair and has a grey complexion.

Despite extensive enquiries being carried out at the time of Hugh’s disappearance his whereabouts remain unknown.

With the 20th anniversary of his disappearance police and his family are renewing their appeal for information or indeed for Hugh to contact them to let them know he is alive and well.

Hugh previously resided in Bath and Swindon in England and police are conscious of the possibility that he may have returned to either of these areas.

Police in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, are appealing for anyone who believes they may have information about Hugh, his disappearance or his whereabouts to come forward. Police can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
