A3062 Frome Road Closed For Resurfacing Work

The A3062 Frome Road in Odd Down has been closed until the weekend so the carriageway can be resurfaced by the Council.

The resurfacing work is taking place between the Rush Hill and Red Lion roundabouts.

The road is closed from Tuesday 27th May to Saturday 31st May between 7am and 7pm each day.

First Bus in Bath have made some amend
ments to local services while the daytime closures take place.

These include: Service 14 (from Bath Bus Station to Upper Weston) diverting direct via Wellsway and it will not be serving Bloomfield Road.

Service 14 (from Upper Weston to Bath Bus Station) will divert via Oolite Road and Wellsway and will not serve Bloomfield Road.

All stops on the diversion route will be used upon request.

In a statement, First Bus said they had asked for the works to be carried out in sections which would allow them access to use either Bloomfield Road or Bloomfield Drive to and from Frome Road.

They were informed that due to the nature of the works it was not possible.
