Two lawyers at Bath-based Mogers have been named as leaders in their field in the legal profession’s ‘Bible’. Rebecca Silcock and Tom Webb, from the Queen Square-based firm, are named in the Chambers UK 2013 Guide which was published on Friday.

Entries are free and no lawyer can pay to be listed in the guide with law firms annually invited to help the Guide’s researchers by submitting a list of clients who may be contacted for an insight into how a firm performs.

Rebecca is a partner and head of the family team at Mogers advising on divorce, separation and civil partnerships and specialises in the financial aspects of separation and divorce particularly where there are business or complex assets.

Meanwhile Tom is a partner and head of the commercial department advising on all aspects of corporate law but specialises in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance work.

Steven Treharne, managing partner, said: ““I am delighted that Rebecca and Tom have been recognised in Chambers this year. This illustrates not only our legal ability but also the practical advice that we provide and our in depth understanding of our client’s issues and objectives.

“We strive to make our clients lives as easy as possible and this recognition is tantamount to that approach.”
