People are being invited by Bath & North East Somerset Council to visit Haycombe Crematorium Open Day on Sunday 10th June 2012, 12pm – 3pm.
Staff will be on hand to take tours around the facility every half hour and answer any questions that visitors might have.
Tracey Mock, Bereavement Services Manager at Haycombe, said, “Opening up the doors to the crematorium for this day will help people understand what service that Bath & North East Somerset Council provides. The tours from previous years have proved very popular and the feedback is very positive.“
The Haycombe site has recently benefited from the expansion of the cemetery and new carpets, replacement seats, and a new sound system are part of a £140,000 investment to improve surroundings and facilities for funeral services at the crematorium.
