A variety of fun activities are on offer during half-term at a number of Bath’s heritage attractions.
From 4-8 June in Bath, Council-run attractions are hosting a number of craft sessions for the whole family to enjoy. There are chances to learn about your local history at the Roman Baths, create regal designs at the Fashion Museum, or let the children channel their inspiration into art at the Victoria Art Gallery.
Councillor Cherry Beath (Lib-Dem, Combe Down), Cabinet Member for Sustainable Development, said: “Bath & North East Somerset Council is encouraging families to come along and join in with our celebrations – particularly with those fun activities where you can keep the kids entertained for free.“
Admission to Bath & North East Somerset Council’s family drop-in events at the Roman Baths and Fashion Museum is free to local residents on production of a Discovery Card. The Fashion Museum events are also free to National Trust members. Normal entry prices apply to everyone else.
Residents of Bath and North East Somerset can apply for a Discovery Card by taking along two forms of ID to the following Council buildings: the Roman Baths; Riverside in Keynsham; The Hollies in Midsomer Norton and also the Discovery Card point in the new One Stop Shop at Lewis House, Bath.
All the events at the Victoria Art Gallery cost £3.75 per child and must be booked in advance on 01225 477244.
