Students from City of Bath College will be giving massages to runners at this year’s Bath Half Marathon to help them ease their tired limbs.

Sports students will be joined by complementary therapies and spa students to give free massages to runners once they have crossed the finishing line.

The students will be based in a marquee provided by the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Di Rowe, Course Leader for Complementary Therapies, said: “The Bath Half Marathon will provide our students with the perfect opportunity to practice their massage techniques on weary runners.

“It will give them excellent experience of the world of work and will be a relaxing experience for runners at the end of their gruelling half marathon.”

For more information on sports and complementary therapy courses at City of Bath College visit www.citybathcoll.ac.uk <http://www.citybathcoll.ac.uk>  or call 01225 312191.
