Runners planning to take part in the 10km Roman Run on Saturday 21st July at Bath Racecourse are being assured by Relish Running that the event is still going ahead.

Some competitors had been concerned that the run might not take place after the Sulis Soundtrack Festival had to be cancelled as conditions caused by the recent exceptionally bad weather meant the centre course could not safely accommodate articulated lorries and heavy staging needed for a music festival.

However, the 10km Roman Run will still be able to proceed around the outskirts of the centre course and participants and spectators are welcome to attend the event at Bath Racecourse on Saturday 21 July (race starts at 11am).

Anyone interested in taking part can register via www.relishrunningraces.com up to 12noon on Thursday 19 July, or register on the day of the race itself from 9.45am.
