After a period of downtime, Melksham Hospital’s x-ray department has now reopened and is ready to link with the RUH.

The department has been completely refurbished and upgraded with state of the art digital x-ray equipment linked to a Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS). This is networked directly to the Royal United Hospital and enables rapid reporting of images taken, improved patient diagnosis and subsequent treatment.

The department’s opening time remains Wednesday to Friday and appointments are made between 9am – 5pm.
