Avon and Somerset Police searching for a man last seen walking out of hospital are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Roger Williams has not been seen since Thursday January 5th, 2012 when he walked out of the Royal United Hospital in Bath. He left without any money and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Since he went missing officers in Bath have been searching for Roger. Posters have been put up in the city appealing for information and police dogs have been working alongside police officers during the search.

Roger is 66-years-old and described as a white man with brown hair and a bushy beard. He was last seen wearing a red coat and dark trousers.

Police have previously released a CCTV image of Roger when he was last seen and today have issued a new photo to help trace him.

Detective Constable Gary Snailum said: “Roger went missing five days ago and has not been seen or heard from since. He does not have access to any money and left with just the clothes he was wearing. The search for him carries on and as time passes our concern for his welfare continues. If anyone has seen him I would urge him to get in touch.”

Hilary Ingram, Roger’s sister, said: “We are devastated and just so worried about Roger. We are desperate and would ask anyone who has seen Roger to get in touch. No matter what we love him dearly and if he is reading this I would say please reverse the charges and call us or call the police.”

Anyone who has seen Roger since he went missing is asked to contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101.
