The organisers of Peasedown’s Jubilee Party in the Park are looking for local celebrities to take part in their summer event.
To celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, they’re holding Party in the Park on Monday 4th June. It will be part of a four-day national holiday, celebrated all over the world.
Since the first festival was opened by Glastonbury’s Michael Eavis in 2009, event organisers are keen for this year’s party to be opened by members of the local community.
Jubilee Party in the Park Chairman, Cllr Nathan Hartley, said: “We’re looking for people who were born in 1952, and still live in the village.
Our theme this year will strongly focus on Peasedown over the last 60 years, with a special emphasis on the 1950’s when Elizabeth become Queen.
If you were born on 1952 please get in touch. We’d like you to play a special part in our Jubilee festivities on the Monday 4th June.”

Bookings are also now open for stall holders and attractions. For more details contact Bookings Manager, Parish Councillor Karen Walker on 01761 300685, by emailing [email protected] or by writing to:
