Organisers of the Bath Half Marathon have teamed up with Yelling Performance powered by runcoach to offer entrants a unique training programme, tailored specifically to their requirements.
As the Official Online Training Support Partner for the Bath Half in 2013 Yelling Performance powered by runcoach will be available to all Bath Half participants in the lead up to the race, which is to be held on Sunday 3rd March.
Instead of the usual 8 to 12 week downloadable training programmes, Yelling Performance powered by runcoach offers a customised plan for the Bath Half, personalised according to target finishing time, preferred days of the week that runners want to train on and fitness background. In addition, unlike conventional training programmes where what you see is what you get, Yelling Performance powered by runcoach is adjustable to take into account any missed training sessions, or a change in goals, so runners can amend according to the progress being made.
Andrew Taylor, Director at Running High, organisers of the Bath Half commented: “We’re delighted that those entered into the BATHALF are the first in the UK to have the opportunity to use Yelling Performance powered by runcoach. It is a fantastic training programme which is suitable for runners of all abilities and we hope it is something that will appeal to BATHALF entrants and help them on their way with their training. We are ten weeks away from race day now, so it is the ideal opportunity for our runners to give it a try and see their progression along the way.”
Runcoach is an established US based platform, and this will be a first for the UK, offering entrants of all abilities the opportunity to try something that isn’t currently available as part of any other UK race.
