A new toddler group is launching in Peasedown St John this week to offer something extra for the under-5s.

Held in the village’s local parish church, St John’s, the group will be a chance for pre-school aged children to get together to play, partake in craft and learn stories from the Bible.

St John’s Church member Emily Marquez-Vega, said: “This new group is for anyone under the age of 5 and their parents. We’ll include activities to keep children entertained, and plenty of tea and coffee for Mums and Dads!

“As a part of the local Christian community, Little Lights offers pre-school learning from a faith perspective. We want to ensure that children grow up to know and love the God that created them.”

Little Lights will meet every Friday from 10am – 11am in St John’s Church, Peasedown St John. For more details contact Emily Marquez-Vega on 07754103095 or visit www.stjsgroup.com.

St John’s Church is part of the ‘St J’s Group’ Anglican benefice, which covers the parish churches of St John’s Peasedown, St Julian’s Wellow, St James’ Foxcote and St Julian’s Shoscombe and is named after their three patron saints.
