Police are appealing for information after a man was been stabbed in the centre of Bath, near to Orange Grove early this morning.
The assault took place at around 2.15am.
The assaulted man is believed to be in his 20s. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing but he will be going into surgery this morning.
Police were investigating the crime this morning and had closed off a large area around the scene, stretching from Orange Grove to the Guildhall.
A man has now been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
Officers have started an investigation and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 101.
