Avon and Somerset Police were on the lookout for a man who fled from Bath’s Magistrate Court after being sentenced yesterday afternoon.
Police closed down an area of the Lower Bristol Road in the hunt for the absconder, after he managed to escape from the courts after jumping over a balcony.
After evading the building security at the courts, he made his way towards the Lower Bristol Road.
It took just over an hour for 21-year-old Daniel Dixon to be arrested.
He was found by officers on the roof of the old Bath Press site.
