Bath schoolgirl Hannah Medd is celebrating winning one of the top prizes at this year’s Bath Skills Fair.

Hannah, 16, a pupil at St Mark’s School in Larkhall, won a fourth generation iPod Touch which she can store her music on, as well as using to browse the web and play games.

To win the competition, Hannah visited the Bath Skills Fair at City of Bath College and answered a series of questions about different exhibitors at the event.

Hannah, who will study Health and Social Care at City of Bath College when she leaves school, said: “I really enjoyed the Bath Skills Fair and was impressed with the wide range of exhibitors who were there.

“I’m interested in care work, so it gave me a chance to find out more about what’s involved in working in the industry and the different jobs that are available. It was a really worthwhile event to go to.

“I’m so pleased to have won the iPod. I can’t believe it though – I entered the competition and didn’t think any more about it until a got a call telling me I’d won!“
