City of Bath College is launching a new course to help couples plan the perfect wedding day.
From budgeting for the big day, through to booking the venue, the order of the service and even the Wedding Breakfast, the course aims to help couples ensure their special day goes to plan.
The six-week course is run by professional wedding planner and event caterer Fiona May, who has extensive experience of ensuring weddings run smoothly and who can advise brides and grooms-to-be on how they can avoid stress and disappointment on their wedding day.
The course will also look at finding the right wedding transport, florist, photographer and entertainment.
Fiona said: “Your wedding day is one the biggest, most important days of your life, and one that you want to make sure goes smoothly.
“I have helped plan around 50 weddings now and I just adore it. I’m so passionate about making sure that such an important day goes smoothly and is as stress free as possible for the happy couple.
“This course will cater for all different budgets and weddings of different sizes, whether you’re planning a small, intimate event close to home, or something more extravagant or even a wedding abroad.
“I’ll take the couples through everything that matters, and be on hand to help them through every stage of the planning process.”
The Plan Your Own Wedding course takes place each Tuesday from 25th September to 11th November from 6.15pm to 8.15pm at City of Bath College’s Avon Street campus. It costs £120 per person.
