Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for information about a burglary in Camden Road and the theft of a number of front doorbells in nearby Lower Camden Place.

The police believe the offences may be linked.

The burglary occurred overnight on Tuesday 20th November where the clock shown was stolen. The victim’s handbag was also stolen, but later recovered on the Bath Road, Longwell Green, Bristol.

The suspect is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall and of slight build. He had a sallow complexion with mousy brown stubble and spoke in an Irish accent.

Police want anyone with information or who may have seen anything suspicious to call Bath CID on 101.

You can call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. They never ask for your name or trace your call.
