An employee of the city’s Roman Baths has thanked the careers advisers at City of Bath College for helping her find the job she ‘absolutely loves’.
Mina Moosavian works as a Visitor Service Assistant at the Baths – one the city’s premier attractions for visitors from across the world – but came to the College for help and advice when she was job hunting.
Mina said: “I had been applying for jobs and getting interviews, but never getting any further. I decided to come to the College and meet with a careers adviser to see if they could help.
“The help I received was wonderful. I learned a lot more about job interviews and how best to ‘sell myself’ to prospective employers. I was also able to rehearse interview questions and possible answers to tricky questions.
“My careers adviser helped me get the very best out of myself and I’m sure I got the job thanks to the advice and support they gave me.
“I absolutely love my job. My main role is to help visitors and answer their questions. I also lead guided tours of the Baths too which is perfect for me because I love talking!”
