City of Bath College is adding two new qualifications to its range of undergraduate courses, to reflect the increasing number of Higher Education students choosing to study at the College.
The new BSc (Hons) Business is run in partnership with the respected University of London, while the academic direction of the programme is set by the world-renowned London School of Economics (LSE), which also examines the degree
The three-year course aims to provide an understanding of the different functional areas of business and a solid foundation for a career in management. The degree will prepare students for a career in a variety of management areas, including banking, accountancy and management consultancy.
The programme has been developed by academics at LSE, which is regarded as an international centre of academic excellent and innovation in the social sciences.
The second new course is the one-year HNC Music Technology. This course aims to prepare students for work in the music technology industry by providing them with expert tuition, visits by top industry professionals, high-profile work placements and learning in the College’s state-of-the-art facilities.
The new qualifications are launched at a time when an increasing number of Higher Education students are choosing City of Bath College as a place to study.
A dedicated Undergraduate study centre in the College’s new £5million Roper Building, plus competitive course fees and the chance to study close to home are all attracting more Higher Education students to the College.
