Celia Adams, owner of the Bath Cake Company has won another award after her recent success and gained a Bronze Award at Cake International.

She was successful in the Decorative Exhibit category with her model of an Indian elephant made out of white chocolate.

“I am delighted to win this award particularly as it is the first time I have entered an international competition and the standard was so high.”

The Indian elephant, which is almost 30cm tall, appears to be standing on a tiled floor and is covered with a decorative cloth.

Last year Celia made an African elephant to go on the top of a birthday cake for Wildlife Artist of the Year, Karen Laurence-Rowe.

“Karen was very complimentary about the elephant I made for her birthday celebration here in Bath that I wanted to make another elephant from chocolate. This competition gave me the opportunity.”

Cake International was held at the Excel London from 12th – 14th April.

The elephant is now on display in Bath Cake Company shop if you’d like to see it.
