Staff from Andrews’ Estate Agents branches in Newbridge and Bear Flat in Bath are hoping to build a brighter future for the homeless through a series of fundraising events.

Taking place on Wednesday 19th December, the intrepid bunch will be pedalling on a series of static bikes and ‘riding’ 150 miles – the equivalent of riding from Bath to Plymouth and back again – with all monies raised going to the Estate Agency Foundation (EAF) which combats the causes of homelessness.
For those who want to cheer the cyclists on, the bikes will be set up in branch windows and there will also be a raffle.
Branch manager Rosie Marlow said: “We are all really excited about the challenge as this is a cause which is very close to our hearts. Andrews is one of the founding members of the EAF and continues to raise money for the organisation every year.
“We spend our time finding or letting homes for people who are fortunate enough to have the financial security to do so, but it is important not to lose sight of the thousands of people across the country who find themselves living on the streets.
“We were contemplating a sponsored cycle ride from Bath to Plymouth and back but decided it might be better to cover the distance in the office rather than on the road, especially at this time of year.
“Anyone who wants to pop in to give the team support is very welcome or if they’d like to donate they can do so by visiting our just giving page.”
Rosie concluded: “We are hoping to do our bit to make someone’s Christmas a little bit more warmer, safe and secure by supporting this fantastic cause.”
