Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for help to trace whoever threw a glitter ball at one of Bath’s ambulances, damaging its windscreen.
It happened at around 1.20am on Friday 4th January on the Lower Bristol Road, near Banglos and the Green Park Tavern.
The ambulance, which had a patient on board, was forced to stop its journey with a severely damaged windscreen while it was on the way to the Royal United Hospital.
This deliberate act of vandalism put the paramedics and patient at risk.
Police say there were a lot of people on the street at the time who may have seen what happened and who was responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 or to contact Crimestopers on 0800 555 111.
