Appeal For Witnesses After Robbery

Avon and Somerset Police’s officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Bath on Friday.

The incident occurred at Bathwick News in Daniel Mews, Bath at around 9.10am.

Two male offenders entered the property and threatened the victim with a hammer before taking cash. They entered and left the property from the Henrietta Park area of the city.

Officers have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses.

The offenders are described as two white men. One was around 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a navy hoody and a black plastic fancy dress mask.

The second offender was around 6ft tall and was wearing a light grey hoody. He was wearing a white plastic fancy dress mask.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Bath CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
