Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for help to trace a 58-year-old woman who’s gone missing.

Update 22/11/12: Janet has been found safe and well by police.

They say they are concerned for the safety of Janet Aplin because her disappearance is completely out of character, and there is nothing to suggest that any other person is involved in her disappearance.

Mrs Aplin, of the Victoria Hotel in Millmead Road, Oldfield Park was last seen when she went to visit her mother at the Avon Court care home in St Francis Avenue, Chippenham on Sunday afternoon, 18th November.

She was driving a silver Toyota Rav 4, registration YM53 PXJ. She has shoulder-length grey hair and was wearing a blue jumper and a blue quilted jacket.

Anyone who has seen Mrs Aplin or her car, or who knows her whereabouts, is asked to call Bath CID on 101.

Alternatively, call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org, they will never ask for your name or trace your call.
