Appeal after fatal crash in Bath

Avon and Somerset Police are this morning appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal road traffic collision in Bath.

The incident occurred on Sunday 12th June 2011 at 3.10am in the morning on the A4 Lower Bristol Road near the entrance to Twerton High Street.

A Hyundai Accent Sienna collided with an unattended parked Ford Ka.

The driver of the Hyundai, a man in his twenties, suffered severe head injuries and after being cut from the car by fire fighters was transferred to Frenchay Hospital by the air ambulance. He later died from his injuries.
