Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for witnesses and information following a fail to stop collision in the north of Bath.

At around 11.40am on Friday 1st March, a woman in a Mercedes was taking her child out of a car seat on Batheaston’s High Street when another vehicle struck the rear offside.

The car which is described as a musty yellow colour and old, drove off in the direction of Bath city centre.

Police officers investigating this incident would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or to any garage owners who may have carried out repair work to a car similar to this which would have had front nearside damage.

Anyone who can help is asked to call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 or contact them via www.avonandsomersetpolice.uk/contactus
