Talented Beauty and Complementary Therapies students have beaten off competition from other leading Colleges to take top honours in a prestigious contest.
The five City of Bath College students swept the board at the national WorldSkills heat in Oxford, winning the first, second and third place awards in Reflexology and securing first and second places in Aromatherapy.
Sadie Ryan took first place for Reflexology, followed by Simone Jackson (second) and Yoko Yasui (third).
Lara Cockhill, was awarded 1st for Aromatherapy followed in second place by Kieran Crawford.
The heat was to qualify for the National WorldSkills event in November at Birmingham NEC.
Di Rowe, Complementary Therapies lecturer, said: “All of the students did so well, we’re all really proud of them. They were up against students from other top Colleges across the country are did us proud.
“This result shows how talented our students are and how they are benefitting from learning in industry-standard facilities in the College’s new Roper Building.”
