Following the publication of a Government White Paper outlining the 12 negotiating objectives for exiting the European Union, Bath MP Ben Howlett has launched a survey for local residents to have their say.
The survey has been created for Bath residents, organisations and businesses to submit their views on all aspects of the negotiations.
Over the past few weeks since the Supreme Court ruling, Bath MP Ben Howlett has been a consistent advocate for the publication of a White Paper to ensure that constituents and businesses could have their views heard at the highest level.
Ben said: “I am pleased the Government has listened to calls from myself and others and published a White Paper detailing the key negotiating principles as we prepare to start formal negotiations regarding our withdrawal from the European union.
“The White Paper will give Parliament the opportunity to debate the detail, give the public more certainty and hold the Government to account throughout this process.
“I am calling on as many Bath residents, organisations and businesses to go online and complete my survey so I can adequately represent your views in forthcoming debates and make representations to the Government.
“It is important that Bath residents have the opportunity to feed in their views and this will allow me to gather as much information as possible to do just that.”
