Ben Howlett, the Member of Parliament for Bath, has been ranked the third most active MP in Parliament of the Conservative MPs elected in the 2015 General Election.
The ranking is calculated based on the number of times Ben has spoken in the chamber and the number of written questions submitted.
Upon hearing the news, Ben said: “Since being elected 10 months ago, I have taken every opportunity to represent the views of Bath residents in the House of Commons.
“I have raised a whole range of issues for constituents in the short time I have been an MP, both through written and oral questions, and speeches I have made in Parliament.
“The issues I have spoken ranged from Assisted Dying, air strikes on Syria, local transport to mental health all the time I try to represent the views of Bath residents.
“I have also led a number of debates including one on saving Bath’s Courts, the protection of bees and increasing diversity in STEM.
“I am proud to represent my home city in Parliament and I will continue to take every opportunity to further the success of Bath.”
