Members of the public are invited to The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 27th September, at the Assembly Rooms in Bath.
The AGM will also combine the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting. Attendees will hear from key speakers on how the Trust has performed – its activities, challenges and achievements over the last financial year.
Brian Stables, Trust Chairman said: “All members of the public are welcome to attend. We will have information stands set up to explain our future plans and other key areas of activity taking place at the hospital. Staff and Governors will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
“Please come along if you are free. It’s a good opportunity for you to tell us what you think of the care we deliver and how we can further improve patient, carer or visitor experience.
“Your feedback will help us to shape our clinical priorities for the year and set strategic goals.”
Guests are asked to book their place in advance. This can be done by calling the Membership Office on 01225 826288.
Guests will be able to take a behind-the-scene look at some specific areas of work at the RUH. Consultant Geriatrician, Dr Chris Dyer will be hosting our Caring for You topic focusing on the Frailty Flying Squad, a pioneering specialist team of doctors, nurses and therapists, which has been shortlisted for a national nursing award for its work in supporting frail elderly people to remain at home rather than being admitted to hospital.
The AGM will be held in the Assembly Rooms in Bennett Street from 5pm.
Copies of the Annual Report and Quality Accounts will be available at the meeting and on the RUH website after the meeting, or by written request to the RUH Trust Secretary, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, Combe Park, Bath, BA1 3NG
