Local charity Age UK B&NES and Bath College Adult and Community Learning are offering the chance for locals to learn Chinese Brush Painting at the Midsomer Norton Hub.
Beginners will learn new painting techniques, and those with some art experience will have the chance to try different styles of painting using influences from China.
It will be a relaxed and informal course open to anyone over 55.
The first session takes place at The Somer Centre on Tuesday 28th Feb and and the second on Tuesday 14th March, from 11.30am – 2pm.
You can attend one or both sessions; the content will be the same but you should see some progression if you attend both.
Sessions will be taught by local artist, Liz Bennington, and are free, but booking is essential.
All materials will be provided.
To book, call Lynsey Parsons, Adult Community Learning on 01225 328822 or Vicki Chapman on 01761 433161 ext 330 or alternatively email [email protected].
Age UK B&NES is a local charity that supports around 12,000 older people, their families and carers every year, with essential services.
