White Stuff will be opening a larger shop in Bath on 11th September, adjacent to their previous location on New Bond Street, and one of the largest re-sites of a White Stuff store to date.
The shop will feature and a mix of clothing, footwear, accessories for men and women, and homeware, and will showcase the brand’s unique and creative approach to interiors and display.
Designed with the shop’s Georgian architecture in mind, there will be original features, reclaimed architectural features and bespoke furniture and fittings throughout.
Fitting rooms will be themed around retro swimming bath changing rooms, and there will be a full sized sweet shop cash desk.
The shop will focus heavily on giving customers an immersive brand experience, and will host the first White Stuff social space. ‘The Kitchen Table’ is a specially designed skill and craft space that can be hired by the local Bath community for workshops, events and meetings.
There will be no fee to hire the space, but a suggested small donation can be made to the shop’s partner charity Bath City Farm.
As well as having a bespoke social space, the shop will also have a complimentary tea bar where customers will be invited to have a cup of tea in the upstairs café area, and there will be an area devoted to kids, complete with its very own ball pit themed around Roman Baths.
A talented florist local to the Bath area will providing a selection of ready to buy bouquets and floral arrangements, displayed outside the shop that can be paid for at the cash desk.
Every year White Stuff commits to donating at least 1% of their annual profits to charity, and shops regularly raise money with fundraising events throughout the year.
White Stuff Bath will continue its partnership with local charity Bath City Farm, which has been a supported by the shop since August 2014, with funds of over £2,600 raised during this time.
To celebrate the opening, White Stuff Bath will be hosting an opening party at the shop on 16th and 17th of September, 9am – 9pm.
The two day event will include live acoustic performances from local musicians, there will be nibbles and bubbles, as well as goodie bags, a grand prize draw and 20% off everything.
Wilma the White Stuff Morris Minor will also be making an appearance in the city on 16th September.
