120 new jobs are being created in Bath as the City of Bath Apex Hotel prepares to open its doors in August this year, with a number of positions on offer across a range of departments at the site.
The brand new 177 bedded hotel, situated on the corner of James Street West, has a range of full and part time hospitality positions on offer from junior management to supervisory and supporting roles across a range of departments.
While some positions will require experience, the hotel will offer training and good career prospects for anyone keen and willing to learn. Importantly, the hotel is seeking people who have a warm and friendly attitude to join the team says Tim O’Sullivan, General Manager of the City of Bath Apex Hotel.
“We would like to fill as many of these positions as possible with people who live in or near Bath. We are a great company to work for, we genuinely care about our employees and invest in providing everyone with skills and the necessary training to help them perform well and enjoy their jobs.
“Even if you have never worked in a hotel environment before and are considering a career in the industry, or a change in career then please come and talk to us, we need lots of team members and have plenty of different roles for both front and back of house positions.
“Across the group we have high standards and pride ourselves on our excellent customer service so we are keen to meet people who have a real desire to be part of that ethos and help us maintain these standards in Bath.”
Apex is hosting its first drop-in recruitment sessions on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd May from 3pm to 7pm at Bath College (The Shrubbery Restaurant, Allen Building Bath College, Avon Street) where anyone can go in to have a chat about our career opportunities.
Two further sessions will take place on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th May.
