A man wanted on suspicion of a series of burglaries in Bath and South Gloucestershire has been arrested after a police pursuit along the A4 between Bath and Bristol.
The 33-year-old, driving a green Honda Civic, was spotted by police near Corston at around 1.30pm yesterday, 13th June.
He failed to stop for officers and was then pursued towards Bristol.
The police helicopter NPAS 43 was deployed from their Filton base to assist with the pursuit.
At the Hicks Gate roundabout a stinger device was used.
Despite it puncturing all four tyres, the Honda only came to a stop near the park and ride at Brislington where the driver was then Tasered and arrested.
The man, from South Wales, is now in custody at Bath police station where he will be questioned about six burglaries in Bath and the Staple Hill area.
