Snapdragon Weddings is thrilled to be able to offer a couple the chance to win their wedding and honeymoon and raise money for a fantastic cause at the same time.
The wedding will take place on 17th June 2012 at Bailbrook House in Bath.
The prize that includes just about everything a couple could wish for has a value of over £21,000, yet will cost one lucky couple just £5 – the price of a raffle ticket!
The wedding has been organised by Snapdragon Weddings, to raise money for equipment for the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for premature babies at Bath RUH. A range of top wedding suppliers from the area have kindly agreed to donate their services and products for free, meaning all proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets go directly to NICU.
Kerry Heathcote, Proprietor of Snapdragon Weddings said: “I wanted to raise some money for the NICU unit, as my own baby girl was premature and needed NICU care so I know what an amazing job they do, and I loved the idea of organising a wedding as a fundraising activity. I have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from fellow wedding suppliers for the idea and the cause and am so proud of the wedding that we are now able to offer.”
The prize includes full wedding coordination by Snapdragon Weddings, so the winning couple can just sit back, relax and look forward to a dream wedding. An open evening will be held at Bailbrook House on Thursday 21st July 2011 from 5pm to 8.30pm, for couples to view the venue and meet all of the suppliers whilst enjoying champagne and canapés. The raffle will be drawn at a Charity Ball taking place at Bailbrook House on Sat 22nd October 2011.
Events & Community Officer for The Forever Friends Appeal Jo Hones comments: “The Snadragon Weddings raffle is a truly brilliant idea! I am sure there are many couples out there who will jump at the chance of winning their big day – and the bonus is all the money raised will go towards state-of-the-art medical equipment for the wonderful new Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care. We are so thrilled that Kerry has chosen to support the Forever Friends charity with this inspirational fundraising idea.”
Kerry Heathcote continued: “I really hope that the public will also love the idea and will buy tickets for themselves or even family or friends who are engaged, to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous wedding and at the same time supporting a really good cause.”
