The Bath based Natural Theatre Company is pleased to announce the launch of their revamped, restructured and reinvigorated website www.naturaltheatre.co.uk.
Natural Theatre, founded in 1970, is one of Europe’s leading practitioners of street and off-stage theatre. Audiences in nearly 80 countries worldwide have been amused and astonished in equal measure by the company’s award-winning and original comic scenarios. Famed for its immaculately presented and highly photogenic characters, Natural Theatre can perform in almost any situation, from a street festival to a product launch.
Details regarding Venue Hire can now be found on the News section which includes photos and stats of their recently completed Studio. This modern space with plenty of natural light and interesting architectural details is perfect for meetings, presentations, conferences, rehearsals and workshops.
The Naturals education work has been highlighted in the new Participation section with information of their ever growing Youth Theatre. Children can sample this for themselves as there are still a few spaces left on their first ever forthcoming Summer Schools, 8-12 August, 10am-3pm, for 8-12 year olds and 15-19 August, 10am-4pm, for 13-18 year olds. Each fun filled week will give young people the amazing opportunity to learn some of the company’s street theatre routines, raid the vast costume collection and devise and actually perform some new scenarios on the streets of Bath. Places can be booked and paid for on the new website too.
Work Experience the Naturals way is highly original too and schools can take advantage of a creative week focusing on teamwork, devising and producing an actual artistic product. Their flexibility is shown with the range of Workshops available from a 40 minute taster session, 2 hour master class, full day and a week long residency. Experienced and accredited workshop leaders are available to divulge the secrets of Natural Theatre’s success to schools, colleges, businesses and arts organisations all over the world.
Photographs of new characters and favourite scenarios, video clips and history of how Natural Theatre Company was formed can be found on their About Us section, but new features include joining The NATS online. The NATS is their friends and supporters scheme which not only enables regular fans to feel part of the company but help support the community, educational and youth orientated work the Naturals undertake.
